How We Work

1. Store Review — We look at your current theme, apps, and analytics (or your plans, if it’s a new store) and identify what’s actually costing you conversions: slow pages, clunky filters, apps doing what ten lines of Liquid could do.
2. Scope & Quote — A written plan with fixed pricing. For custom sections, you’ll know exactly what’s being built and how it’ll appear in your theme customizer.
3. Build in a Duplicate Theme — All work happens in a copy of your live theme, so your store keeps selling while we build. You preview everything before anything goes live.
4. Test Across Devices — Product pages, cart, checkout flow, filters — tested on mobile first, because that’s where most of your traffic is.
5. Publish & Support — We publish, monitor, and stay available for fixes. Custom sections come documented so any future developer can maintain them.

Small customizations (a section, a feature) often ship within a few days. Full theme builds typically run 3-6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you customize my existing theme, or do I need a new one? Usually your existing theme is fine. Most “we need a redesign” requests turn out to be a handful of custom sections and performance fixes — much cheaper than a rebuild. We’ll tell you honestly which one you need.

Will custom code break when my theme updates? Custom sections built the Online Store 2.0 way survive theme updates cleanly. We build them as self-contained sections/blocks, not edits scattered through core theme files.

Can you reduce my app bill? Often, yes. Badges, sliders, timelines, discount displays — a lot of common app functionality can be replaced with lightweight custom code that loads faster and costs nothing monthly. Check our free Shopify sections for examples.

Do you work with Shopify Plus? Yes — including checkout extensibility and B2B features. The same build-in-a-duplicate, test-first process applies.
